design a place for an egg, that celebrates a quality of the egg, using only paper

This is a top view of my place for an egg. The "flower" is protecting the egg because it is so delicate. The petals also trace the form and shape of the egg.


I think this photograph shows a good contrast between the brown paper and white egg.



I liked this because the shadow makes me think of a hand, which has nothing to do with the egg but still interesting.
